FAQ

How does electrostatic/ionic purification clean the air?

Ionic purification uses electrically charged surfaces to create charged ions that attach to airborne particles. These airborne particles become electrostatically charged and are attracted to the charged collector rod in this purifier, thereby eliminating them from circulating air.

How does UVGI technology work?

UVGI is a sterilization method that uses ultraviolet light to break down microorganisms by breaking down their DNA structure, thereby stopping the microorganisms reproductive cycle and killing them at the same time. UVGI uses a short wavelength of UV that is harmful to microorganisms, such as flu and cold viruses. Coupled with an air filtration system, UVGI can effectively remove harmful micro-organisms from surrounding environments.
